Surinamese authorities have issued an official search and arrest warrant for Ryan Kenneth Torilal in connection with the disappearance of Rodney Leysner, a 52-year-old executive at Rudisa N. V.

Torilal is suspected of multiple serious offenses, including murder, manslaughter, participation in a criminal organization, and intentional deprivation of liberty. Police have categorized him as being armed and a flight risk. He is reportedly being sought at several addresses in Paramaribo.

Leysner has been missing since August 15, 2026, after leaving for a business meeting in the Saramacca district. Investigators discovered a burned and crushed white Kia Sorento in a Saramacca swamp; the vehicle's chassis number matches the car Leysner was driving. While authorities have not officially confirmed Leysner's death, the discovery has intensified the investigation. Three other suspects, including a Cuban couple and an individual identified by the initials R. E., are currently in custody.
