Ryan Murphy completes script for Glee reboot

Ryan Murphy has confirmed that a script for a Glee reboot has been completed. Murphy collaborated on the draft with co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, the same writing team behind the original series' first two seasons.

Murphy reported that he has been in contact with approximately ten original cast members regarding the project. He described their reaction as “very enthusiastic,” although he noted that none of the actors have read the script yet. Murphy intends to write additional drafts to gather feedback from the cast, with whom he maintains a close relationship.

While the script is finished, the project is in its early stages. It has not yet been officially placed with a specific streaming platform or network. The original series aired on Fox from 2009 to 2015 and remains a significant cultural touchstone.
