Ryan Naderi makes full international debut for Czechia against England
Rangers striker Ryan Naderi made his full international debut for Czechia in a Nations League match against England. The 23-year-old, who was born in Germany, was selected for the starting lineup by manager Santi Denia following a previous substitute appearance against Spain.
During the match against England, Naderi played the full 90 minutes, demonstrating high work rate and involvement in defensive transitions and counter-attacks. Despite his efforts, Czechia lost the game with a 3-0 scoreline. Statistical analysis of his performance noted a 79 per cent pass accuracy and significant ball carrying, though he struggled in aerial duels, winning only one of seven attempts.
Naderi previously made his debut as a substitute in a match against Spain, where he briefly scored a goal that was disallowed due to a prior foul. The forward has officially committed his international allegiance to Czechia, choosing them over his father's native Bulgaria.
