Ryan Reynolds declines large celebration for 50th birthday

Actor Ryan Reynolds has stated that he does not intend to host a large celebration for his upcoming 50th birthday on October 23. Speaking during the premiere of his new action-comedy film, ‘Mayday’, in New York, Reynolds expressed that he is not particularly fond of birthdays and finds sufficient attention through public appearances like red carpet events.

Reynolds noted that his family experiences a busy period he humorously refers to as ‘Birthday Alley’. This stretch includes the birthdays of his wife, Blake Lively, their three children, and their wedding anniversary, all occurring within a roughly 113-day window leading up to Christmas. His new film, ‘Mayday’, in which he plays a U.S. Navy pilot, is scheduled for release on Apple TV on September 4.
