Ryan Vickers wins British Superbike Sprint race at Thruxton

Ryan Vickers secured his first victory as a Honda rider by winning the British Superbike Championship Sprint race at Thruxton. Despite experiencing difficulty during Friday's practice sessions, Vickers made significant progress to claim the win. During the race, he executed a decisive move on the penultimate lap at the Club Chicane, managing to maintain control of his Honda Fireblade despite briefly losing stability.

Vickers' victory marks the first win for Honda at Thruxton since 2019 and the first for the manufacturer since August at Cadwell Park. Scott Redding finished second after overtaking Kyle Ryde on the final lap, while Bradley Ray recovered to take third. The result ended Kyle Ryde's podium streak, reducing his championship lead to 33 points.
