Ryanair expands flight network and presence in Morocco
Ryanair is significantly expanding its operations in Morocco for the Winter 2026 season. The airline will offer 5.3 million seats on flights to and from and within Morocco, representing a 12 percent increase of approximately 600,000 seats compared to the previous winter. This expansion includes 156 routes and 17 new destinations, connecting Morocco to 14 different countries across 13 Moroccan airports.
In addition to increasing capacity, Ryanair is strengthening its regional bases. The airline has established a new base in Rabat with two aircraft, marking its fifth base in the country and bringing the total number of aircraft stationed in Morocco to 16. The Moroccan tourism office, ONMT, estimates that Ryanair’s broader presence in the country involves a total investment of $1.6 billion and supports over 8,500 local jobs.
Other airlines are also increasing connectivity to Morocco from European cities. From Gdansk, Poland, Wizz Air will launch bi-weekly flights to Agadir, while Ryanair is also offering services to Agadir from Bratislava, Slovakia, and other European locations.
