Ryanair expands Moroccan operations with major winter program

Ryanair CEO Eddie Wilson visited Rabat to strengthen a strategic partnership with the Moroccan National Tourism Office. The airline is launching its largest winter program in Morocco to date, featuring 5.3 million seats across 156 flight routes and 17 new destinations.

This expansion includes the opening of a new base in Rabat, marking the airline's fifth base in the country. The number of aircraft stationed in Morocco has increased to 16. To date, the company's cumulative investment in the kingdom stands at $1.6 billion, supporting more than 8,500 local jobs.

The expanded network aims to boost connectivity to destinations beyond major hubs, including Fez, Tetouan, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla, and Nador. The initiative aligns with Morocco's strategy to increase air capacity and attract new tourist markets from Europe.
