Ryanair expands Polish operations with 18 new routes

Ryanair has announced a significant expansion of its operations in Poland for the upcoming winter season, introducing a total of 18 new routes across Warsaw’s two main airports.

At Warsaw Modlin Airport, the airline is increasing its aircraft base from seven to nine. This expansion is expected to support 3.2 million passengers annually and will include 11 new or restored routes. Notable destinations include Zagreb, Birmingham, Bratislava, Bristol, Budapest, Copenhagen, Edinburgh, Manchester, Palma, and Stockholm. The new service to Zagreb, starting October 26, will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Saturdays.

At Warsaw Chopin Airport, Ryanair will operate 16 routes during the winter schedule, including seven new connections. These new routes primarily target Italy, with flights to Bari, Bologna, Catania, Naples, Turin, and Venice, as well as Liverpool. The airline expects to transport approximately 800,000 passengers from Chopin Airport this year, representing a 50 percent year-on-year increase.
