Ryanair expands Skellefteå-Gdansk route and announces 2027 summer expansion

Ryanair is increasing flight frequency on its route between Skellefteå, Sweden, and Gdansk, Poland. Following the successful launch of the line in March 2024, which has seen over 50,000 passengers, the airline will increase weekly departures by 50 percent, moving from two to three flights per week. This capacity increase, which raises weekly seats from 756 to 1,134, is scheduled to take effect on June 3, 2026, and will continue through October 2026.

Separately, Ryanair has released the first 29 new routes for its summer 2027 program. The airline plans to operate over 2,500 routes across a network of approximately 230 destinations. While specific details regarding new Swedish connections were not included in the initial announcement, the airline stated that more routes will be presented in the coming months as it continues to develop its European network.
