Ryanair passenger fined €1,300 for assault on flight to Poznań
A Ryanair passenger disrupted a flight from Palma de Mallorca to Poznań on 8 June 2025, assaulting a flight attendant. The Regional Court in Poznań convicted the passenger and ordered a total payment of €1,300 – a fine of €705 plus €595 compensation to the crew member who was harmed. Ryanair reiterated its zero‑tolerance policy, stating that the ruling serves as a warning to other passengers who might threaten the safety and comfort of flights.
The airline did not disclose the passenger’s identity, but confirmed that the incident led to legal action in Poland and that similar behaviour could result in travel bans and additional penalties.
