Ryanair passenger partially sucked from plane after window shatters

New footage has emerged detailing a mid-flight incident on a Ryanair flight traveling from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Memmingen, Germany. During the flight, a window shattered, causing 61-year-old passenger Ljubiša Karović to be partially sucked out of the aircraft.

Video obtained by 60 Minutes Australia shows the chaotic scene inside the cabin, with passengers wearing oxygen masks as debris and high-velocity wind entered the plane. Fellow passengers, including Eleni Kyranou and Karović’s wife, Svetlana, reportedly fought for approximately two minutes to pull him back into the aircraft.

Karović sustained serious injuries to his neck, right shoulder, and head, as well as facial and limb burns caused by the intense wind. He spent six days in the hospital and has since expressed significant psychological trauma. Karović has indicated intentions to sue Ryanair, citing dissatisfaction with the compensation offered.
