Ryanair pilot blames Bologna local government for flight delay

A Ryanair pilot reportedly blamed local government policies for a flight delay during a trip from Olbia to Bologna on August 29. While addressing passengers before takeoff, the pilot stated that the delay was due to a measure implemented by Mayor Matteo Lepore’s administration.

The comment likely refers to an ordinance by the National Civil Aviation Authority (Enac) that restricts night flights between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM over Bologna's urban areas. This regulation was established following negotiations between local committees, the municipality, and Marconi Airport to protect the health and rest of residents.
