Ryanair reports 7% passenger growth in July 2026
Ryanair reported a significant increase in passenger numbers for July 2026, transporting 22.2 million passengers. This represents a 7% increase compared to the 20.8 million passengers recorded in July 2025. During this period, the airline operated more than 120,800 flights with a high average load factor of 96%.
Over the past twelve months, Ryanair has carried a total of 213.2 million passengers, a 5% increase compared to the previous year, maintaining an average load factor of 94%.
The company's strategic decisions continue to impact regional airports. In Trapani-Birgi, Ryanair reopened its operational base in January 2026 with an investment of approximately $200 million, deploying two Boeing 737 aircraft and offering 24 routes. Meanwhile, in Linz, the airline will discontinue its connection to London-Stansted in October 2026 due to lower seasonal occupancy, though its Alicante service will continue.
