Former WWE wrestler Ryback has stated that he no longer holds any animosity toward CM Punk, marking a shift in their long-standing public feud. In a video posted to social media, Ryback addressed questions regarding whether bad blood still exists between the two, stating, “No, I don’t hold on to any hate with that anymore.”
The dispute between the two wrestlers dates back over a decade, stemming from criticisms Punk made regarding Ryback following his departure from WWE in 2014. While Ryback clarified that moving past the resentment does not imply they will become friends or work together professionally, he expressed that holding onto anger no longer serves him.
Ryback noted that he is happy to see Punk’s recent return to WWE and success, adding that he has learned that happiness and hating are both choices. He indicated he has no interest in repeatedly rehashing the past, despite the history being a frequent topic of discussion among wrestling fans.
