Rybnik hospice facility ready for staffing and equipment

A new hospice facility in Rybnik is complete and currently undergoing staffing and equipment phases. The city has transferred management of the building to the ‘Puls-Med Blisko Ciebie’ Foundation and provided a 1.3 million PLN grant to purchase essential equipment such as beds and wardrobes.

Recruitment for medical staff is underway, with over 600 applications received for positions including nurses, doctors, medical caregivers, and rehabilitators. The facility is now awaiting a decision from the National Health Fund (NFZ) regarding financing contracts before it can begin full operations.
