Ryoka Fujisawa of Mrs. GREEN APPLE partners with Gusto
Ryoka Fujisawa, the keyboardist for the band Mrs. GREEN APPLE, has partnered with the family restaurant chain Gusto for a collaboration titled ‘Chef RyoChan’. Fujisawa acted as a chef to develop six original menu items, which include a special chige hot pot inspired by her personal memories of eating at Gusto during her early band days, a tomato pizza designed to be palatable for vocalist Motoki Omori who has a dislike for tomatoes, and a plum-based salad and chicken dish inspired by guitarist Hiroto Wakai.
The collaboration is scheduled to run from October 22 to December 2, 2026, at Gusto locations across Japan. In addition to the food, the campaign features limited-edition original merchandise, such as mugs, cutlery, and plates, which customers can collect. Fujisawa also selected the background music to be played in restaurants during the campaign period. The project is noted by Skylark Restaurants as one of the largest-scale collaborations in the chain's history in terms of prepared food volume.
