Ryoka Fujisawa of Mrs. GREEN APPLE to appear on TV Asahi program

Ryoka Fujisawa, the keyboardist for the rock band Mrs. GREEN APPLE, will make his first appearance on the TV Asahi late-night program ‘Zenryoku Saka’.

During the episode, scheduled to air on September 30 at 1:20 AM, Fujisawa will run up Hikawa Slope in Bunkyo, Tokyo. The location is named after the nearby Hikawa Shrine, which dates back to the Edo period. Despite the lingering summer heat, Fujisawa reported feeling refreshed after the run, noting that he wore new shoes purchased during his first trip abroad.

The program, which features runners sprinting up hills accompanied by narration from actor Mitsuru Fukietsu, will include special narration tailored to Fujisawa’s appearance. The broadcast coincides with the upcoming release of a new Mrs. GREEN APPLE album.
