Ryosuke Yamada stars in finale of mystery drama ‘Ichigen no Sashiki’

The human mystery drama ‘Ichigen no Sashiki’, starring Ryosuke Yamada and Sei Shiraishi, aired its final episode on January 6. Based on the novel by Ryunosuke Matsushita, the series follows a mystery involving human remains discovered in the Himalayas.

The finale depicted a confrontation at the Yamashiro Art Museum, where the character Ushio, played by Mitsuo Yoshihara, met a violent end after being shot. The story concluded with the character Shizuyo living as a figurehead for a religious group, while the protagonist Yuu shared a rare moment of smiling with Mari.
