Ryota Yamasato discusses marriage to Yu Aoi
Comedian Ryota Yamasato, a member of the duo Nankai Candies, shared details regarding his marriage to actress Yu Aoi during an appearance on the Fuji TV program ‘Cream Talk! Super Experience! Grand Prix’.
Yamasato explained that their meeting was a series of coincidences. He noted that Aoi was impressed by his hard work during his appearance on a program hosted by Teppei Arita. Following their professional connection in the film ‘Hula Girls’, a dinner meeting was arranged through Yamasato’s comedy partner, Shiro Yamasaki.
The couple married in June 2019 and later announced the birth of their first daughter in August 2022.
