Orix Buffaloes pitcher Ryuhei Soya earned his fifth win of the season, pitching seven scoreless innings with only two hits. This victory marks his first win since June 10, ending a 74-day drought following struggles with left elbow conditioning.

Soya’s performance was highlighted by his ability to prevent runners from reaching second base. The team secured the win through a timely hit by Kitada in the seventh inning and a two-run home run by Nishikawa in the ninth.
