Ryuji criticizes Denny's premium ramen

Culinary researcher Ryuji has shared a critical review of a premium ramen dish offered at Denny's. The menu item, titled ‘Spicy Miso Chashu Ramen’, is priced at approximately 2,497 yen.

In a post on X, Ryuji stated that the dish ‘honestly did not suit my taste’ despite its high price point. He provided specific criticisms, noting that the chashu pork tasted ‘like ham in a bad way,’ the vegetables lacked flavor, and the noodles lacked sufficient presence against the miso soup. He concluded by comparing the experience unfavorably to an 880-yen ramen from Hidakaya, suggesting the premium offering felt limited by the constraints of a family restaurant setting.
