Ryusei Yokohama discusses upcoming film on TOKYO PRIME

Actor Ryusei Yokohama has appeared as the guest for the 34th installment of ‘Himitsu no PRIME’, a program broadcast on the Japanese taxi media platform TOKYO PRIME. The feature, which runs from September 14 to October 11, includes discussions regarding Yokohama’s personal views on luxury and his private rules.

During the appearance, Yokohama discussed his upcoming film, ‘Nanji, Hoshi no Gotoku’ (As You Like the Stars), scheduled for nationwide release in Japan on October 9, 2026. He noted that the project is a special work for him, stemming from a letter he personally sent to the original author, Yu Nagira, after being moved by the source material.

The film, directed by Michihito Fujii, is an adaptation of the award-winning novel by Yu Nagira. It depicts a 15-year story of love and difficult choices between two individuals, Kaikai and Akumi, set against the backdrops of the Seto Inland Sea and Tokyo.
