Rēzekne to host KOPUMS Youth Opportunities Festival in 2026

The city of Rēzekne is preparing to host the KOPUMS Youth Opportunities Festival on August 12, 2026. The event is a key component of Rēzekne’s designation as Latvia’s Youth Capital for the year.

Scheduled to take place at the Olympic Centre, the festival aims to connect young people, youth workers, non-governmental organizations, and state institutions. More than 60 organizations from across Latvia are expected to participate, offering resources related to education, employment, volunteering, and personal development through workshops, competitions, and networking opportunities.

The National Employment Agency (NVA), part of the Ministry of Welfare, will be among the participants. NVA specialists will provide guidance on career planning, labor market opportunities, and professional suitability testing to help youth navigate their educational and employment paths.
