Rzeszów opens new library in Millennium Hall

A new municipal library for children, youth, and adults is opening at the Millennium Hall cultural and shopping center in Rzeszów. Located on the second level of the facility, the library occupies over 300 square meters and integrates collections previously held at branches 3 and 15 of the Provincial and Municipal Public Library.

The facility features a collection of approximately 12,000 volumes, including fiction, thrillers, fantasy, historical novels, biographies, and non-fiction. In addition to books, the library offers audiobooks, press, and board games.

Beyond lending materials, the library will host cultural and educational activities such as workshops, animation sessions for children, author meetings, lectures, and reading clubs. The opening event on October 19 includes activities like the ‘Library Mission’ game and art workshops. The library is scheduled to operate Monday through Saturday, with plans to eventually extend hours to 20:00.
