Rzeszów prosecutor charges woman for child abuse and pornography sales

A 59-year-old woman faces trial in Rzeszów for the systematic sexual abuse of her minor son. Prosecutors allege that between October 2020 and June 2024, the woman committed multiple rapes and other sexual acts against the child.

According to the District Prosecutor's Office in Rzeszów, the woman recorded the abuse through photos and videos, which she then sold to users on internet portals to generate a steady income. The investigation, conducted by the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime, led to charges against the woman and six other individuals.

In total, 14 people have faced charges in connection with this case. Seven men have already been convicted after voluntarily accepting punishment. The woman is charged with several offenses, including the rape of a minor descendant under the age of 15, incest, and the creation and distribution of child pornography.
