Răzvan Lucescu Emphasizes Emotional Coaching in PAOK Interview

Romanian coach Răzvan Lucescu appeared on a Romanian TV show for a Q&A session, speaking about his role with Greek club PAOK. He highlighted that he “operates more emotionally” and draws on the values he inherited from his father Mircea Lucescu, such as resilience and a refusal to give up after setbacks.

Lucescu said he stays motivated by constantly learning, reading and watching matches, and noted that while he respects fellow coaches like Mădălin Stoilă and club president Adrian Becali, his focus remains on delivering results for PAOK. He dismissed speculation about a possible return to Romanian football, calling future decisions “possible but not certain.”
