Răzvan Sava expected to leave Universitatea Craiova in winter

Goalkeeper Răzvan Sava is expected to depart Universitatea Craiova during the upcoming winter transfer window. The 24-year-old, who joined the Romanian club from Udinese in the summer of 2024, has struggled to secure a starting position, as Laurențiu Popescu has remained the preferred choice between the posts.

Agent Giovanni Becali stated that Sava is likely to return to Italy, potentially joining a Serie B side through Udinese. Sava has made eight appearances for Universitatea Craiova, recording two clean sheets. His departure follows a period of limited playing time, as he had previously arrived with expectations of becoming a regular starter and a fixture for the Romanian national team.
