S. BLOX lists Cardano ADA and Midnight NIGHT in Japan

S. BLOX, a Japanese cryptocurrency exchange operated by Sony On-Chain Technologies Inc., has formally listed Cardano’s ADA and the native token of the Midnight sidechain, NIGHT. The listings, which became effective on August 24, represent a significant expansion for both assets within the Japanese market.

The addition of NIGHT marks the first time the token has been available on a domestic exchange in Japan. S. BLOX operates under the regulation of Japanese financial authorities, including the Financial Services Agency. To encourage user adoption, the exchange has launched promotional programs offering rewards in both ADA and NIGHT for eligible users through September 30.

Market observers suggest that the integration with a Sony-backed platform could increase liquidity for these assets across Asia and provides the Cardano ecosystem with a major corporate connection in a highly regulated market.
