Sé Catedral de Parnaíba reopens after restoration

The Sé Catedral Nossa Senhora Mãe da Divina Graça in Parnaíba has officially reopened for liturgical activities following a period of restoration. The reopening was marked by a thanksgiving celebration on Tuesday, August 18, attended by clergy, religious figures, and local authorities.

During the ceremony, Bishop Dom Edivalter Andrade led the solemn entry and the enthronement of the image of the cathedral's patroness, Nossa Senhora Mãe da Divina Graça. In his homily, the Bishop emphasized the spiritual significance of the temple and the mission of the Church as a welcoming community. The event also served to recognize the workers, benefactors, and faithful members of the community who contributed to the physical renovation of the cathedral.
