S-OIL sponsors ‘Moving Marathon’ led by Lee Bong-ju

S-OIL is sponsoring the ‘Moving Marathon’ with a contribution of 250 million won to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. The event, organized by the Korea Disabled People's Rehabilitation Association, will take place on October 4 at Peace Plaza in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.

Led by national marathoner Lee Bong-ju, the race is designed for both people with disabilities and non-disabled participants to run together. The competition features three courses: 5km, 10km, and a half-marathon, following routes through Peace Grass Plaza and Haneul Park.

Registration is open until mid-September via the official website. Participation fees—50,000 won for 5km, 60,000 won for 10km, and 70,000 won for the half-marathon—will be donated entirely to the Korea Disabled People's Rehabilitation Association. Participation is free for individuals with disabilities, and one companion for participants with developmental or visual impairments is also exempt from fees.
