S10 honors twin brother during Lowlands festival performance

Singer S10, born Stien den Hollander, dedicated her performance at the Lowlands festival to her twin brother, Emiel den Hollander, who recently passed away.

During her set, the artist read a handwritten note to the audience, expressing the loss of someone deeply connected to her. She performed her song ‘De diepte’ as a tribute to those who are missed. S10 shared that while performing can be difficult due to her grief, she considers her work to be her dream.

Emiel den Hollander was found seriously injured on a garage roof in Amsterdam on April 16, 2025, and died from his injuries on June 19. Four suspects have been detained in connection with the case, which is scheduled for trial in the Alkmaar court in the first quarter of 2027.
