S11 expressway construction advances as environmental assessment begins

The Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection (RDOŚ) in Poznań has initiated environmental impact assessment proceedings for the final missing section of the S11 expressway between Piła and Ujście. This decision follows months of delays caused by the need to supplement environmental reports and conduct public consultations.

Public consultations regarding the investment are scheduled to run until October 14. The environmental decision is a prerequisite for announcing a tender for the project. Current estimates suggest that construction work could begin as early as 2028.
