S19 Babica–Jawornik expressway construction reaches 80% completion

Construction of the 11.6 km S19 Babica–Jawornik expressway section in the Podkarpacie region is over 80% complete. The project, valued at more than 1.25 billion PLN and executed by Intercor, is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Due to the challenging terrain of the Dynów Foothills, the project includes 17 engineering structures, including eight viaducts, five bridges, and four animal crossings. A major highlight is the ES-26 viaduct located between Żarnowa and Godowa. This structure will feature pillars reaching 80 meters in height, making it the tallest viaduct in Poland.

Currently, bridge works are approximately 89% complete, and over 40% of the route has received bituminous surfacing. Two viaducts, located on the Połomia–Glinik Charzewski and Żarnowa–Niebylec routes, have already been opened to traffic.
