Saša Matić discusses family reconciliation and childhood medical tragedy

Singer Saša Matić has shared details regarding his personal family history, including a long-term estrangement from his mother, Razija. After years of limited contact, the two reconciled following a surprise meeting in Belgrade, which Matić described as an overwhelming emotional experience.

Additionally, Zoran Matić, the father of singers Saša and Dejan Matić, has spoken about the medical tragedy that led to his sons losing their sight. According to Zoran, medical professionals informed him that the twins were ‘poisoned’ by oxygen overdose during their infancy. The family sought treatment across Europe, including in Germany and Rome, but doctors confirmed there is currently no cure for their condition. Zoran attributed the loss of vision to medical negligence by staff in Zagreb.
