Saša Vuković Charged with Murder of Aleksandar Nešović in Belgrade Restaurant
The Higher Public Prosecutor in Belgrade has filed an indictment against Saša Vuković for the aggravated murder of Aleksandar Nešović on 12 May 2026 at the “27” restaurant in the Senjak district. The indictment alleges that Vuković illegally possessed a 9 mm pistol and fired at least ten rounds, inflicting multiple gunshot wounds that caused Nešović’s death.
Co‑accused Mario Stanković, Nenad Lukić, Petar Urošević, Vuk Šević and Dejan Savić are also charged with aiding and abetting, including concealing the victim’s body in a blanket and transporting it to a vehicle before it was buried near Jarkovačko Lake. The prosecution has also suggested extending pre‑trial detention for all suspects.
The filing contradicts false claims previously circulated on social media by convicted criminal Milos Medenica, who asserted a later police inspection date and various unfounded details about the case. Police investigations confirmed the victim was last seen at the restaurant around 23:00 on 12 May, after which his mobile phone was switched off and a formal missing‑person report was filed by his partner on 13 May.
