Saae/Sorocaba to implement new invoice layout in October

The Saae/Sorocaba water and sewage service will implement a new invoice layout starting in October. This update is designed to align with the requirements of the Brazilian National Tax Reform, specifically following Complementary Law No. 214/2025.

The change is strictly related to how information is presented and will not affect the total amount charged or the method used to calculate consumption. The new format aims to provide clearer and more accessible information, including a QR Code that allows users to access the Electronic Water and Sewage Invoice Auxiliary Document (Danfe-AG) digitally.

Key improvements in the layout include a more organized presentation of consumption history, water quality data, due dates, property registration details, applicable taxes, and payment methods. The back of the invoice will also feature service channels, digital services, and educational guidance regarding water conservation.
