Saarbrücken announces autumn holiday program for children

The city of Saarbrücken has announced a diverse program of activities for the autumn holidays, running from Monday, October 5, to Friday, October 16. The offerings are hosted at various locations, including the Meiersdell and Eschberg adventure playgrounds, the zoo, the city library, and through the KidS program.

At the Meiersdell adventure playground, children aged six and older can participate in activities such as making stockbrot over an open fire, woodworking to create wooden owls, cooking vegetable stew, pressing apple juice, and silk painting. The program concludes on October 16 with a traditional autumn meal featuring pumpkin soup and nut corners.

The Eschberg adventure playground will also host events, including lantern making and pottery workshops where children can shape and glaze clay objects. Other activities include apple juice pressing and outdoor cooking.
