Saarland Police Schedule Week-Long Speed Checks in Multiple Locations

The Saarland police announced a series of speed controls to be carried out from Monday 22 June to Sunday 28 June 2026. Checks will target accident‑prone sites on highways and regional roads, including L 112 between Bildstock and Eppelborn, B 423 between Homburg and Blieskastel, BAB 623 near Saarbrücken‑Herrensohr, and several other routes across the state. The operations aim to improve traffic safety by deterring speeding, which is a leading cause of serious crashes. Drivers are warned that additional unannounced checks may occur and that some announced controls could be cancelled for operational reasons.
