Saba Taamin Financial Group reports 70% profit surge

Saba Taamin Financial Group has reported a significant increase in profitability for the three-month period ending August 22, 2026. The group achieved a net profit of 3,015 billion tomans, representing a 70 percent growth compared to the same period last year. Net profit per share rose by 69 percent to 262 rials.

Operating income for the group grew by 64 percent, reaching 3,376 billion tomans. While total operating income rose, realized dividend income saw a 34 percent decrease, falling to 1,102 billion tomans, suggesting that the profit growth was driven primarily by other operating segments and investment valuations.

In its annual general meeting, the group also announced plans to increase its capital to 18 quadrillion tomans from its current level of 11.5 quadrillion tomans. As a financial arm of the Social Security Investment Company (SHASTA), the group manages various strategic subsidiaries across sectors including pharmaceuticals, agriculture, shipping, and petrochemicals.
