Saba to launch colorectal cancer screening program

A colorectal cancer screening program is scheduled to launch in Saba on September 28, 2026. The initiative targets both men and women between the ages of 55 and 75, marking the first time the program will include men.

Participants within the target age group will receive invitations over a two-year period. Those who have not received an invitation but wish to participate may contact the organizing body directly starting on the launch date. The program is free of charge.

Saba Cares will implement the program in collaboration with Fundashon Mariadal in Bonaire to ensure follow-up examinations are available for any abnormal test results.
