Sabae City to host Megane Fes 2026 eyewear festival

The Megane Fes 2026 is scheduled to take place in Sabae City on September 19 and 20. Under the theme ‘Global Vision, Local Fun—The world dances with glasses!’, the event will feature approximately 90 booths from over 40 eyewear-related companies at the Megane Museum and surrounding venues.

Activities include technical showcases of lens and frame manufacturing, work experience corners for children, and live performances by various artists. Local students are also participating; students from Sabae High School’s IT and Design course will exhibit original eyewear designs created as part of their curriculum.
