Sabae JAM Festival 2026 adds 21 acts including Takahashi Yu and EGO‑WRAPPIN

The Sabae JAM Festival 2026 will be held on 11–12 October at Nishiyama Park in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture. Organized by the Sabae Music Village Committee, the two‑day event expands on the previous year's jazz festival and aims to showcase independent culture across a range of genres.

A third‑round line‑up announcement brought the total to 21 performing groups. Headliners include singer‑songwriter Takahashi Yu (first day) and the duo EGO‑WRAPPIN'. Other notable acts are rock band KISHI‑DAN (second day), jazz band JABBERLOOP, and local school wind ensembles. The schedule for each day has been published, with a mix of domestic and emerging artists.

Ticket sales began on 3 July and run through 2 August via e+. Prices are ¥7,700 for a single‑day pass and ¥14,300 for a two‑day pass, with family and senior discounts, as well as local‑sale vouchers and hometown‑tax (furusato‑nozei) gifts. Festival activities include food stalls, a craft‑beer market, and free access to the adjacent zoo where visitors can see red pandas. The organizers aim to blend music, food, and local culture to attract tourists and residents alike.
