Sabah commuter service between Kinarut and Sembulan to launch in October
A new commuter service connecting Kinarut Station and Sembulan Station in Sabah is expected to begin operations this October. The expansion includes six newly constructed stops designed to increase public transport accessibility for residents traveling between residential areas and the city center.
Sabah Deputy Chief Minister III and Minister of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transport, Datuk Ewon Benedick, stated that the initiative aims to make rail services more practical and accessible. The development is part of the state government's goal to strengthen an integrated and efficient public transportation system to support urban growth and economic development.
