Sabah FC assistant coach anticipates difficult Champions League clash with Napoli

Valerio Zuddas, the Italian assistant coach of Sabah FC, has discussed the upcoming Champions League match against Napoli scheduled for January 20, 2027.

Zuddas acknowledged the significant gap in individual talent and international experience between the two sides, describing Napoli as an ‘enormous club’ with highly important players. He noted that regardless of Napoli's current form, Sabah FC will face a difficult challenge.

To compete, Zuddas emphasized that Sabah FC must rely on high-level collective performance rather than individual brilliance. He also noted that the dynamics in the Azerbaijani league have shifted toward more defensive approaches from opponents, allowing Sabah FC more control in domestic play, though he expects a different reality against a team of Napoli's caliber.
