Sabah FK advances to Champions League play-offs

Sabah FK has advanced to the Champions League play-off round after defeating Danish side AGF Aarhus with a 4-0 victory in the second leg. The aggregate score for the tie stands at 5-2 in favor of the Azerbaijani club.

Polish defender Tymoteusz Puchacz, playing for Sabah, noted that his team utilized physical superiority and adapted well to the high temperatures in Baku to overcome the Danes. Puchacz also reflected on his career progression, stating that his current maturity and tactical understanding differ significantly from his earlier period playing in the Bundesliga with Union Berlin.

The elimination of Aarhus complicates their path through European competitions, while Sabah moves closer to the Champions League group stages.
