Sabah Islamic Skills College launched for tahfiz graduates

The Sabah Islamic Skills College (KKIS) has been established in Kota Marudu to provide technical and vocational education pathways for tahfiz and pondok graduates in Sabah. Located at the USIA-AlBukhary Da'wah Training Centre in Kampung Marasinsim, the institution aims to combine religious foundations with industrial skills.

Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor stated that the initiative is designed to equip religious students with technical expertise, ensuring they are prepared for modern career opportunities and technological advancements, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). The college seeks to foster strategic cooperation between the All Sabah Islamic Organization (USIA) and the Darul Ridzuan Islamic Skills Institute (IKDAR) to enhance its competitiveness and educational quality.
