Saber Interactive announces Turok: Origins release for Spring 2027

Saber Interactive has announced that the sci-fi shooter Turok: Origins is now scheduled for release in Spring 2027. The announcement, accompanied by an extended story trailer, was made during the Gamescom Opening Night Live event.

Set in the Lost Lands, the game follows the Order of the Turok as they fight to protect humanity from dinosaurs and an extraterrestrial threat known as the Xenia. The title features both first-person and third-person perspectives, offering solo play and online co-op modes.

Gameplay mechanics include a progression system where players collect DNA and Echoes from fallen enemies to upgrade their biomorphic armor and unlock special abilities in real-time. The arsenal combines traditional weapons like bows and shotguns with futuristic technology such as plasma rifles. The game is slated for release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
