Saber Interactive reveals gameplay for Hellraiser: Revival

Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released new gameplay details and a demo for 'Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival', a first-person survival horror game. The title is scheduled for release on October 8, 2026, for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The game features a new story within the Hellraiser canon, developed with the involvement of creator Clive Barker. It follows protagonist Aidan Lynch as he attempts to rescue his girlfriend, Sunny, from the Labyrinth. Players will utilize the 'Genesis Configuration' puzzle box to manipulate the environment and gain supernatural abilities, such as telekinesis and the ability to unleash 'Hell Chains' by collecting 'Suffering' from defeated enemies.

Combat is described as brutal and visceral, offering a mix of melee weapons and firearms. Players must manage resources, including ammunition and healing items, while facing various entities like Cultists, Runners, and Cenobites. Notably, Doug Bradley returns to voice the iconic character Pinhead. A free demo is currently available on Steam to provide an early look at the game's mechanics and atmosphere.
