Spanish television networks launch new programming seasons

Spanish television networks are launching several new programming seasons and segments this September.

On Antena 3, former political leader Albert Rivera will debut a new section titled ‘Ciudadano Rivera’ on the program Espejo Público. Hosted alongside Susanna Griso, the segment aims to explain complex political and social issues, including the geopolitical situation regarding Ceuta and Melilla, using accessible language. Additionally, chef Karlos Arguiñano returns with a new season of ‘Cocina Abierta,’ featuring a renovated set and continued collaboration with his family.

RTVE is preparing a new season of the game show ‘Saber y Ganar,’ which will feature a ‘Second Chances’ theme allowing former contestants to return. Meanwhile, Canal Sur is entering its 27th season of the health dissemination program ‘Salud al día,’ which will utilize new LED technology to present medical information to Andalusian viewers.

Other notable updates include the 22nd season of ‘Cuarto Milenio’ on Cuatro, featuring a report from the Korean Demilitarized Zone, and the third season of the nighttime edition of ‘La ruleta de la suerte,’ which introduces a new 100,000€ prize tier.
