Sabesp construction work causes mobility issues in São Paulo
Residents of the Colinas Residential Condominium, located on the border of São Paulo and Diadema, are facing mobility issues due to ongoing Sabesp construction work. Recent heavy rains have exacerbated the situation, causing soil instability and mud accumulation that prevents vehicles from exiting garages and complicates pedestrian movement.
Sabesp stated that the project is a large-scale structural intervention to implement new water and sewage networks for the Eldorado Condominium region. The company noted that the steep incline and soil characteristics require rigorous technical stages. While recent rains have necessitated daily containment and cleaning efforts, Sabesp reported that pipe installation is in its final phase, with asphalt restoration expected to be completed in the coming weeks, depending on weather conditions.
